For ya'll that get scared and existential contemplating the terms and conditions of your existence - I hear you. I feel you shaking in your boots as I shake in mine. I get them real bad every time I'm meant to be celebrating that day I came into the world. Dreaded BIRTHDAYS. There's so much weight and pressure and pain and joy wrapped in one extremely turbulent 24 hours.

On this year, a very special and dear person to me sent me this *incredible* voice memo the day before my birthday. I listened to it again, and again, and again. I smiled and laugh and squealed each time. I felt the weight of the world turn from a push to a hug. I felt the celebration of existence - the privilege of existence - as opposed to the pressure to do it correctly and for the right amount of time.

So, bed-bound one week, I made a silly thing to share back - and then I kept listening to it. I started dancing to it, and dancing to the blessing of being able to still exist each year, and each day.

I hope it makes some of you laugh and smile as it did for me. Maybe you'll even tap your foot. Miracles do happen.

Each day may we not take for granted the privilege that we can continue to keep living.
